PHILIPPINE HALAL LABORATORY AND SCIENCE CENTER
DOST XII has continuously enhanced implementation of its crafted comprehensive and encompassing High Impact Program known as the “Philippine Science and Technology Program for the Development of the Halal Industry” which was presented and launched by the Honorable DOST Secretary during the Opening Ceremonies of the 1st National Halal Forum in 2008.
This is while maintaining a fully operational world-class Halal Laboratory in Cotabato City which is at par with other countries in support of the Philippine Halal industry, offering the following tests and analyses to customers that encompasses the entire food supply chain.

- DNA analysis of foods and other processed products
- Gelatin content of milk and other dairy products
- Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) testing
- Alcohol content of beverages and other related products
