MANDATE/MISSION

Executive Order No. 128 mandates the Department to “provide central direction, leadership and coordination of scientific and technological efforts and ensure that the results therefrom are geared and utilized in areas of maximum economic and social benefits for the people”.

DOST XII MISSION

DOST XII shall endeavor to enhance and upgrade the competitive capabilities and commercial strengths of people through the adoption of integrated agriculture-based industry cluster propelled by conscious efforts to pump-prime SMEs through management and creation of appropriate technologies. Thus, it shall lead in the advancement of science and technology through the utilization of appropriate superior technologies to a level of competitive advantage for regional growth, peace and sustainable development.

DOST XII VISION

DOST XII shall envision to lead and contribute significantly in the development of a competent and competitive Science and Technology Community with a social conscience in South Central Mindanao.
