SULTAN KUDARAT – The barangay chairwoman paid a courtesy visit to Provincial Science and Technology Sultan Kudarat (PSTC-SK) last January 25, 2021.
Based on the project briefer prepared by TESDA-SK Province, a copy of which was obtained by the office, coordination with Chairwoman BAI NAILA M. MAMALINTA of Barangay of Datalblao, Columbio, Sultan Kudarat.
After Provincial Director (PD) Guiano coordinated Chairwoman Mamalinta, she personally appeared in the office. PD Guiano discuss the technological assistance that DOST XII would provide to her barangay.
Furthermore, PD Guiano told her that a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) will be executed between DOST XII to be represented by our newly installed Regional Director (RD) ENGR. SAMMY P. MALAWAN, CESE, the Municipal Government Units (LGUs), Barangay Local Government Units (BLGUs) and the direct beneficiary.
Barangay Chairwoman Mamalinta identified the signatories from their end as follows: Mayor EDWIN F. BERMUDEZ, Mr. JURRY D. BERRES, Chairman of the MANTEY FULONG KAMLONG BANWU, Brgy. Chairwoman BAI NAILA M. MAMALINTA and the direct beneficiary of the project.
"The coordination and eventual visit to our office by Barangay Chairwoman BAI NAILA M. MAMALINTA was very timely and appropriate as we are about to implement the CEST/ELCAC project for year 2020, as the funding was just released recently." said PD Guiano.
"It was a very appreciated gesture from our co-workers in the government and one way of gauging of a successful project implementation, that is, if our local partners were very interested and enthusiastic about our technological assistance to be provided to their constituents, thus a blossoming sign that we are now being able to reach customers in the innermost portions of our province." PD Guiano pointed out.
Meanwhile, Chairwoman Mamalinta expressed her sincere gratitude to DOST XII for the forthcoming technological assistance to be provided to her constituents, particularly for those Indigenous People (IP) tribes being infiltrated by the Leftist Movement but had returned to the fold of the government.
The sad meeting was a close coordination activity on End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC) project implementation in Barangay Datalblao, Columbio, Sultan Kudarat.
