The Department of Science and Technology XII (DOST XII ) thru the DOST-Technology Application and Promotion Institute (TAPI), invites eligible proponents to submit commercially-viable and locally-developed R&D project proposals for CY 2017  for possible funding under  the  DOST’s Technology Innovation for Commercialization (TECHNICOM) Program. 

TECHNICOM  is one of the DOST Grants-in-Aid (GIA) programs which aims to fast-track the transfer, utilization and commercialization of R&D outputs for the country’s sustainable development thru relevant technological platforms.

Dr. Zenaida P. HR Laidan, DOST XII Regional Director confirmed financial and technical assistance will be granted to R&D projects pursuing pre-commercialization activities which will be implemented within a period of one year that currently undergoes activities such as: Prototype Development, Pilot-Scale Testing/Scaling-up Production, Technology Validation and Field/Market Testing.

Applicants are required to submit project proposal following the required TECHNICOM Format;  letter of intent; Workplan; Line-item budget; endorsement letter from the head of the proponent agency; curriculum vitae of the project leader; and letter of commitment from collaborating agency and/or private industry partners.
